The new listings appear on our web site after approval that may take up to 2 weeks. If you want to get your submission processed within 2 days, please add the back link to SharewareABC.com from your web site and specify the URL where our link is placed when you submit your PAD - you can find linking examples here.

All PAD files are polled periodicaly within one week so resubmissions are not required unless you want to add the affiliate program data to existing listing.

All submissions must be compliant with the Submission Policy.

Note: The 'Affiliate Program' and 'Back Link URL' fields are optional. If you fill the Affiliate Program fields, your software listing will get higher priority in the matching category.
If you use the latest version of PADGen with already embedded affiliates extension, you can just fill matching fields in it to include them in your PAD file, in such cases the affiliate data will be received from you PAD file automatically.

What is PAD?

PAD is the Portable Application Description, that helps the software authors provide product descriptions and specifications to online sources in a standard way, using a standard data format that will allow webmasters and program librarians to automate program listings. PAD saves time for both authors and webmasters. More information can be found here.

In order to use the advantages of PAD, you should produce a PAD file in XML format for each software. Please refer to the latest version of PAD specification and pay your attention on strings format and strings length to create PAD files that are compatible with PAD enabled web sites.

To produce your PAD files in a simple way, you may use free PADGen tool. Then, you can submit your software only by entering the PAD file URL to the most of software download sites - the list of PAD enabled sites is available here: http://www.asp-shareware.org/pad/padsites.asp.
