Convert almost all popular video formats to AVI/DIVX/MP4 formats for mp4 playerUltra MP4 Video Converter is a software that can encode between several audio and video extensions, including OGG, MP4, FLAC, WMA, AVI, VOB and MOV.
The interface of the tool is user-friendly. You can import media by using the file browser (the "drag and drop" method is not supported but batch processing is).
In the list you can view the type, file size, start time, end time and status of each source file.
In addition, you can configure audio and video settings when it comes to quality, size, volume, file split, codec, frame rate, aspect rate, letterbox, channels and sample frequency rate.
Furthermore, you can select the decoder engine (e.g. automatically optimize, built-in decode preferentially), as well as maximum concurrent converting tasks number and CPU core number in conversions.
But you can also enable Ultra MP4 Video Converter to run in the background, select the action to take after encoding is complete (e.g. exit program, shut down the computer), add subtitles, edit the start and end time (so, Ultra MP4 Video Converter can also cut files), preview the video, and more.
The program uses a low-to-moderate amount of system resources, includes an online documentation with snapshots and manages to quickly complete a task while keeping a very good image and sound quality. We haven't come across any problems during our tests. Too bad the demo version has some harsh limitations. Else, we strongly recommend Ultra MP4 Video Converter to all users.
